Busy Bees is a well-established pre-school in the heart of Henleaze for children aged 2½-5 years. We are a welcoming community of children, families, committee and staff.
Our small but vibrant group has up to 20 children at each session, supported by our experienced and professional staff, who ensure that the experience of each child is positive, safe and stimulating. We are caring and nurturing, while encouraging independence. Children develop and learn in different ways and at different rates.
We make full use of our rich variety of resources and equipment both inside and outdoors to provide a happy environment where learning is a shared and enjoyable experience. Our children are not constrained by a restrictive timetable and they are encouraged to be creative, curious and confident to explore and investigate.
In addition, we offer the opportunity for regular Forest School outdoor learning.
Our pre-school prepares children for transition to their Reception year settings as confident, independent, capable learners who can continue to develop and progress to the Early Learning Goals and beyond. Every child is valued for who they are, not what they can do. Diversity and inclusion are at the core of our group. Building respect without prejudice for all cultures, ethnicities and faith is fundamental. We celebrate our differences and shared values.
We are professional, but not profit driven. Busy Bees is a registered charity and not connected to any other nursery or pre-school with a similar name.
